The Von Doren Il Tempo Gigante Automatisk Kronograf is inspired by Theodore Rimspoke's car "Il Tempo Gigante" from the legendary Norwegian stop-motion film "The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix" (1975).
The watch's running seconds hand is based on a radar display, and the chronograph second hand is fitted with a crosshair. The hands and the chapter ring are equipped with Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9 to ensure great readability at all hours.
The movement is a La Joux-Perret Top Grade Caliber L112 column wheel based chronograph movement, and is protected by a case in brushed and polished stainless steel.
Il Tempo Gigante Automatisk Kronograf is available in two color variants, black and brown, and comes in a custom oak wooden box designed in true Theodore Rimspoke style.
